Brief presentation
MTK Keski-Pohjanmaa is regional farmers union, which takes care of various interests and living conditions of farmers, rural entrepreneurs and rural people. Main issues are agricultural policy questions, private ownership rights, social policy matters and information services.
MTK Keski-Pohjanmaa has 8 000 individual members, who are organised on the basis of 18 local farmer associations.
MTK Keski-Pohjanmaa is member of LUOVA-verkosto, a rural innovations network at Keski-Pohjanmaa, which task is to run developing projects to improve agricultural conditions and farmers professional skills.
