Where is the global food system heading? Civil society possibilities to affect the sustainability of food systems

A seminar on green transition in global food systems is going to be held on 7th of March in Helsinki or live stream. The seminar concerns matters such as the effect of climate change, loss of biodirversity and depletion of soils on farmers. It promises to offer a view on difficult choices farmers will have to face due to green transition measures that might seem sensible at the first glance. The seminar gathers speakers from organisations such as EU commission's Directorate-General International Partnerships and UN Food Systems Hub. One of the events' panelists is Kati Partanen from MTK's board.
