MTK webinar: Forestry and Nature – Nordic Approach 

Nordic Forest sector’s players aim to foster reliable and fair political framework conditions and strengthen the position of the European sustainable forestry sector in all forest sector relevant policy processes. Forestry and forest-based bioeconomy provide several additional benefits to the EU economy, at the same time ensuring a good quality of life, ecological sustainability, jobs and added value.

Co-organizers are the Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners (MTK) in collaboration with the Nordic forest owners’ and forest industries’ organizations.  

The objective is to have an open discussion on how sustainable forest management in the Nordics provides nature values as a part of overall sustainability.  

Audience include decision-makers in Brussels and the Member States, forestry sector stakeholders and media in Europe.
